Why do we find it easier to talk in the dark?
I went to dinner at a restaurant on Ste-Catherine O'Noir last night. What an experience to live in the shoes of a blind for another time. Do not know if you have left some food on your plate besides putting your hands inside hahaha
During dinner, we can not observe the person with whom one is, or watching other customers, so we fill the time with the speaking and listening. It's scary how it's easier to confide. I said things and confided that not many people know so easily to someone I know little but that puts me at ease. By cons, I do not think I would have said all this if we had not been in total darkness.
Perhaps the failure to see, made me forget my fear of being judged, rejection. I could not see his reaction and I did not feel the fear I expected when I confide or talk about what I feel.
Without live constantly in the dark, I can confirm that I was comfortable. Maybe not to eat a steak but for me, just me!
